Here is the second card that I did for the say 'what' challenge. I always say, 'What's up pup?' to my little puggie girl when she is giving me the big, beautiful brown eyes. I just know that one day she is going to answer me.
Here is Day 59 from 365 Cards. I felt like doing some 'spring' today in my card because there was just so much rain outside. Tried to think of what our gardens will look like with all of their glorious colour, after the April showers. Hope it brightens your rainy Tuesday!
I LOVE ladybugs! I have lots of pretty ladybug things so decided to put some to good use. This card was fun to do and also a challenge for me because of the different shapes and how big to cut the diamond in the middle. Fun!
Here is a fishy card for the challenge for www.365cards.blogspot.com. I love cobalt blue, and found this background paper in my stash that I organized on the weekend. It is amazing what you find when you organize. Teee heeeee.
Here are two cards that I made from transparencies for the challenge at http://www.365cards.blogspot.com/. I used a painting technique with paints and glossy paper that I learned from my friend Birgit. I love this technique and it involves dropping small blobs of paint onto 2 small separate sheets of glossy paper and then smooshing them together to get these really cool effects. I can't remember the names of the paints, but as soon as I do, I will put the name up here.
Here is a birthday/Easter cake that I made for my mother-in-law's birthday, which we celebrated on Easter. The recipe is from the Company's Coming Cakes cookbook and is the chocolate mocha cake. So easy and so deelish!
An alchemist costume that I made for my god-daughter's project on medieval castles. The hat didn't photograph very well, but is a black beret with matching embellishments. I took a picture of it, but it just looks like a black blob, so didn't include it here. I can't wait to see her wearing it!
I am an avid paper crafter and I love to make all kinds of greeting cards. I also scrapbook and sew. I am married to my amazing husband George and we have a beautiful little princess pug named Sydney Woo.
